Using the website

The Speyside Challenge is operated by Moray Council. You must provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and use the website lawfully. Do not interfere with the service, submit harmful content, impersonate another person or try to access another participant’s information.

Journey entries and prizes

You are responsible for the accuracy of journeys you submit. Moray Council may review, correct or remove entries that appear inaccurate, duplicated or ineligible and may verify eligibility before awarding a prize. The challenge is free to enter.

Optional Strava connection

Strava is an optional third-party service. Connecting it lets you privately review non-private activity summaries returned for your own Strava account. Strava activity data is not imported into the challenge ledger or included in public totals or rankings. You must enter a challenge journey yourself if you want it to count.

Speyside Challenge is not developed, sponsored or endorsed by Strava. Your use of Strava remains subject to Strava’s terms and privacy policy. You may disconnect and delete your Strava data at any time from your dashboard.

Third-party services

To the maximum extent permitted by law, third-party services and content are provided “as is” without warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Third-party providers are excluded from liability for consequential, special, punitive and indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or withdraw website features, correct errors, or update these terms when necessary. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Material changes affecting personal information will be communicated where required.
